  1. you can link all three: grabages (landfills), global warming and rice cultivation through talking about methane (CH4).

rice cultivation is one of the main sources of methane + garbages disposed in landfills produce methane due to fermentation therefore, it can be used but if the construction of the landfill is wrong it can be released to the environment causing global warming for it is one of the GHG (green house gases).

  2. All of these topics is environment related. Garbages, have a lot contribution to the degradation of our environment. Garbages are the leftover things from our kitchen. Usually they are rotten meats and vegestables, mixtures of biodegredable and non-biodegredable materials. Contributions to the environment as follows:

*Non-biodegredable materials like plastics are not easy to decompose. They take up to 100 years or more to wear off.

*Non biodegredable materials release harmful chemicals that contaminates bodies of water and land formations. Specially plastic.

Global Warming is the result of the to much carbon Dioxide trapped in the Earth's atmosphere. Global warming increase the world's temperature by 0.5 °c,continuously. One major effects of Global Warming is the melting of the polar ice caps, which gradually increase the sea level. Low elevated areas are expected to 'sink' when sea levels rise. Another destructive phenomenon is the destruction of the Ozone layer, which is caused by the exessive use of the chloroflourocarbon, or simply CFCs. CFCs break down ozone compound (o³) which weakens the ozone molecule bounds. About rice crisis, its because of the rapid population growth in one place. Rice is usually the primary energy source of energy in Asian countries, like the Philippines. Philippines is one of the primary importer of rice due to rice shortage in the previous months.
