Can you help me i want to adopt a baby boy or girl?

can you refer me any agency where i can contact about adopting a child because i am a single self employed businesswoman 44 years old leaving together with my 69 years old mother and 67 years old father in a condominium in Makati City Philippines. A newly born or a one year old baby boy or a baby girl which ever is fine with me. I hope you could help me with this contact me in my yahoo Messenger as soon as possible. I want to start my year with a new baby in my life.

Wow!  What a wonderful life for a baby.  Stuck in a condo with a mother in her forties whose social life consists of taking care of parents in their late sixties?

I suggest that a pet is better suited for your life style.

you sound like you are looking for a new puppy or toy!. for a start there is no way you will get a baby by the New Year!!.as it is Jan already that seems highly impossible.also,it is VERY difficult for a single person to adopt a new born baby,even a toddler. i am single and i would love to adopt,but i would without doubt offer my home to an older child,of school age,as i feel they are the "forgotten" ones.you need to think very seriously about adoption,and gather as much information as possible form your local services.once you understand the procedures of adoption you may start to see things in a very different light.

I think so you know so little about adoption as it is, you should reconsider. If you are 44 yrs old and dont know how to search for information on your own, and not appear to be so self-centered, than raising a child is NOT for you.

I think your reason needs to be examined. You have two people to care for already. You also say you are a successful businesswoman. How much time are you going to have?

Maybe I'm being too sensitive, but wanting to start the new year with a baby just sounds, I don't know, wrong, for lack of a better word.

I can understand the pangs of motherhood and the fact that your getting older yourself, but really, is starting the new year with a baby going to make that much of a difference in your life?

What are you planning to start next year with?

Please remember that adoption is foremost about providing the best possible home for a child.

You will find all the requirements and the procedures there including phone numbers and email addresses to get you started.  It says "Any adoption applicant interested in adopting a Filipino child/ren (either relative or non-relative) may contact the nearest Central Authority on Intercountry Adoption of their country (if Ratifier or State Party to The Hague Convention) or any ICAB accredited Foreign Adoption Agency (see Annex) who is responsible in these Prospective Adoptive Parents preparation and conduct of their Home Study Report."  Your home study will determine if your home is suitable for a child, and if so, which child you can best meet the needs of.

* Please note that they favor married couples over singles; however, it says singles can still be considered for special needs adoptions (older children, sibling groups, etc.)  Older children are just as deserving of good homes as babies.

I'm not certain how foster care works over there, but here in the U.S., people in your situation could be considered for foster care too, if you want to look into that.  In any case, adding a new member to your family will take time to ensure that all safeguards and protections are in place for the child.
