Can you help me identify a Fossil I found on the beach?

I found a fossil at the beach in Okinawa Japan. It's about four inches long, white and shaped like a surf board. The top of it is hard like a shell and the bottom feels like Styrofoam. There is a point in the front that looks like a stinger. Does anyone know what it is?

It's a cuttlefish bone (cuttlebone).  But it's not really a bone, it's the remnant of their shell that is inside.  And, it's not a fossil.

well..i don't think u can call it a fossil... cause a fossil is usually defined as the preserved remains or traces of animals, plants, and other organisms from the past.

but i think what your talking about is a squid bone!!!
