  1. 15: New York City is the largest city population wise in New York State, But Albany is the capital, or where the state government is centered out of.

16: Buffalo is the second largest city in New York State, and Rochester is the third largest city in New York State population wise.  Rochester leads the way, in my opinion for technology though.  Rochester's largest employer, the University of Rochester, comes out with many medical advances, and Rochester Institute of Technology comes out with many technological advances.  Not being in the technology or medical field, I don't know a lot about exactly what they do though.  I do know that both Rochester and Buffalo are Dying cities; the economy is not good there, and because of the high taxes that New York State puts on Businesses, not many Businesses stay there, so finding jobs is hard.  People there also tend to not like New York City due to the fact that NYC steals from them: taxes, power, water.

19: Boston is the largest city population wise in Massachusetts, and it is also the capital.  It is  huge college city with colleges such as Harvard University there, and MIT nearby, along with at least 30 other colleges in the area.  Boston has some of the Best hospitals in New England, Including Beth Israel Deconis Medical Center, Children's Hospital Boston, and Mass General.  People are airlifted to these hospitals from all over New Englanf

  2. Your question is phrased strangely, but I shall try (this is by size of the city) I'm afraid I don't have time to go into detail:

    1. Seattle

    2. Las Vegas

    3. Los Angeles is bigger, but San Francisco is cooler

    4. Albuquerque

    5. Houston is the largest, but Dallas is cooler

    6. Kansas City

    7. Milwaukee

    8. Chicago

    9.  In this case, Orlando and Miami tie for first...

    10. Detroit

    11. Columbus

    12. Charleston

    13. Charlotte

    14. Augusta

    15. New York City

    16. Buffalo

    17. Philly

    18. New York City again...

    19. Boston

    20. Trenton

    21. Charleston

  3. To find which city is bigger (i.e. more populous), check out the list at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Uni... , which lists over 200 of the largest cities in the U.S. by population.

But which city is better? That's a strange question. It depends on what you like. All of those cities would be about the same in technology. Large cities tend to have worse government and more crime than small cities. Western cities tend to have better government and less crime than eastern cities. But every city is different--for example, there are dangerous western cities (Los Angeles and San Francisco come to mind), and there may be safe, well-governed large eastern cities (none come to mind, but there may be some). Anyone who tells you that one city is great is probably from there.

  4. First Answer is very informative; Smaller cities seem to be better governed and well-run...!!
