  1. I home schooled my son for 3 years. Although he did not HS in highschool, I would have kept a similar schedule. Here it is:

    Mondays:

    Physical Science 8:00-9:30

    9:30 Break

    World Lit- 10:00-12:00

    Lunch-12:00-12:30

Homework for these 2 subjects should take place following lunch.

When homework is done, preparations for the next day should be made.

    Tuesday:

    Geometry-8:00-9:30

Break 9:30 ( clean your room or somethin")

    World geography(?) 10:00-12:00

    Lunch 12:00-12:30

12:30 homework for these 2 subjects and whatever work that was left from the day before.

    Wed.

    Spanish 8:00-whenever

    Break when one is needed.

    Lunch-when needed.

The remaining part of this dayshould be spent completing Spanish...homework, classwork etc.

Theoretically, you should not only be caught up but maybe even ahead of schedule. Work on any essays, projects, tests, library trips that may be needed on Thursday and Friday.

When I homeschooled my son, we concentrated on one or 2 subjects each day. Sometimes Saturday or Sunday were school days. It all depended on his willingness to work.

  2. 8-9 World Literature

    9-10 Science

10-1 PBS, Discovery or Science Channle on CABLE

    4-5 Geograpy

    5-6 History Channel, Discovery

    6-7 dinner

7-8 PBS, Telemundo, Nightly News, Discover, History, Science channle

    More Spanish

    More Discovery, Telemundo, History

    More Geometry

    More Geography

Or Take a Girl to a Stage Play matinee

Saturday night take a girl to a movie

Sunday rest or go to Church

    Have fun

    Do a hobbie

    Goof off

    Go to Sunday School

    See the girl again.

  3. If you mean a schedule at night to do your homework, order them from longest to shortest (time wise), hardest to easiest, most important to least important, etc. It depends on how you work.

I would try something like this:

    Physical Science- 8:00 - 8:30

    World Literature- 8:30 - 9:00

    Small Break- 9:00 - 9:05

    Geometry- 9:05 - 9:35

    World Geography- 9:35 - 10:05

    Spanish- 10:05 - 10:35

I'm sure this will vary, based on the amount of work you have, how fast you work, and the difficulty of each assignment. Make sure you fit in a small break if you need it. Good luck!

  4. First, you need to decide about how long you can handle working at a time as well as about how much time you should work on these subject areas. Do some of these courses in themselves require more time? Are they more packed? Then they need to have more time given to them.

Typically, blocks of up to 1 hour are recommended. If you start at 8, break at 12, you can get through 4 subjects (with really short breaks in between), leaving one subject for the afternoon. If you can handle really long blocks (1.5-2 hours), you may want some subjects to only be 3 times a week instead of every day.

Good luck! Schedules can be very personal things, with some finding it best to have set times and others just routines.

  5. Alright, here we go:

    7:00-8:00: Get Ready/Eat Breakfast

    8:00-9:10: Physical Science

    9:10-10:00: World Literature

    10:00-10:10: Short Break

    10:10-10:45: Geometry

    10:45-11:45: Geography

    11:45-12:30: Lunch Break

    12:35-1:00: Spanish

Then you are done for the day!
