Can you help me name this movie? 10 points?

Question

I don't know how or why I just started to remember it, but all I remember is a doll house in it and people going through this door in the attic to a different place. It must be old because I remember watching it, but I don't remember who the main characters were or what the other door really lead to. I don't remember if it was a scary movie or not? Any help would be great, thanks!

OMG!!! A few years ago I had a dream just like that! It was a baby blue doll house but I could fit in it and I went up a ladder to the attic and there was a kids table in there and one of those dumb waiter things that is a box that cranks up and down to different levels!
