  1. If you've been through a tragedy recently, you may need to give yourself a break.  Take a little time off if needed.  The good thing about homeschooling is that you can schedule breaks when needed.  And a death is definitely a time that a mental break is needed.

Try doing the subjects that you hate first.  To get them over with.  Perhaps try offering yourself a reward (something fun that you enjoy, say extra time listening to music you like or taking a break to do something fun with friends) if you can finish the dreaded subjects within a reasonable amount of time (say, an hour and a half for both).  Once they're done, then you'll be able to enjoy the rest of the day knowing that they're done.

There are a number of note-taking methods out there.  If you spend too much time taking notes, you need to make sure that you're writing down the important facts.  Leave out little, unimportant words, and only write down the bare minimum.  Some people even come up with shorthand methods of writing out words that they use a lot (such as leaving out most of the vowels).

If you are concentrating on the fact that you dislike history, you probably find it hard to think about what you're actually reading.  So, try to just get in and forget the dislike.  History can be very interesting if you think about the stories behind it.  Jot down the important events, dates, people, and something about the reasons behind what they've done.  Try explaining the facts to someone else (a neighbor, a little sister or even your dogs)--explaining it to someone else can really help you to get it.

Keep reminding yourself that the faster you get through the stuff you hate, the more time you'll have for the stuff you do like.  That way, you can make sure you aren't wasting time moaning about what you don't want to do, but work on getting it done with.

(And don't skip the evening meal.  You are growing and need the energy; not getting enough food or sleep will make learning very difficult.  It is better to eat a bit less at each meal than to skip a meal entirely, especially on a regular basis.)

  2. Get up.

    Do stuff.

    Go to bed.

    Repeat.

  3. First of all, you've got to stop worrying about how you feel about your subjects. That's what's causing you to slow down. Forget if you're interested in them or not; has nothing to do with it.

And what do you mean by a "more accurate, good schedule"? Your schedule can be whatever you want it to be. Accurate means that the information is correct, in terms of factual. Like saying that it's 10 degrees out when it's 15 isn't accurate. Good can be any number of things.

Your question is even more confusing the second time going through it. If it takes 5 hours and you start at 9:30, breaking at lunch (so 3 hours done), then I'm assuming you start working again after an hour, so you start at 1:30, you should be done by 3:30. What exactly are you looking for??

As for note-taking, try the SQ3R method. Just look it up online. It's highly recommended. You might also consider looking into other study helps, like PhotoReading or Mind Maps. And you should never skip meals. Bad for your metabolism.
