Can you help me please about my digital camera?

Question

Ok i was just wondering if anyone could help me?? my question is how do you hook your digital camera up to your computer and able to record while its hooked up to it so you can see yourself while your doing a tutorial on something?? is that possible? i have a digital camera its a Kodak 7.0 MP and it came with a usb data cable and a Cd rom...if you all can help me that would be great i just need to know step by step how to do it if its possible...thanks everyone for all your help.

You didn't give us a model number, so I don't know what your camera can do.

However, I'm willing to bet it can NOT do tethered shooting (which is what you're asking about). At best, it might let you take short videos which you then download to your computer.

However, if you want to make tutorials with screenshots  (so  people can see what you're doing on the computer) you'll need proper screencapture software for that (e.g. camtasia studio), and add a webcam if you want to show your face at the same time).
