Can you help me with Mexico??

Question

I'm thinking about going to either Kauai, Maui, or Cancun, or Riviera Maya in August, any suggestions, or travel info.?? I am leaning more towards Mexico, since I lived and visited Hawaii a few times, however it is very beautiful. I should also mention this will be my honeymoon, and we are not into a huge club/nightlife scene. There is a resort we have been drawn too kind of called, Secrets, it looks and sounds amazing. Any help and advice will do! Thanks so much!!

Hi,

I honeymooned in Yucatan. We had a blast. What we did was a little different. We landed in Cancun rented a car and drove to the Mayan Ruins at Chicen Itza. Spent two night in the jungle at the Mayaland Resort. Right next to the ruins. What a great time. We then made a day long drive to Coba to see the ruins and then our hotel near Tulum. We stayed at an All-inclusive. They are great. We turned in our rental car, then took the Ferry across to Cozumel and spent a week at the Park Royal Resort. This was a real treat we can't say enough about the resort. Great people and a great time. The bus by a Air Conditioned Coach from the Cancun Airport is $8 one way to Playa del Carmen about 1 hour. The Ferry ride to Cozumel is again $8 or $10 oneway, takes about 45 minutes. The Ferry is three blocks from the Bus station. Can't miss it just ask for Senior Frogs.

Cruise is THE way to go. Other than that if it is new those places are all nice.
