Question:

Can you help me with a routine?

I quit smoking almost a year ago and I am ready to begin a cardio routine to help build endurance. I also want to tone my muscles and lose some of the fat I have gained since I quit smoking. I don't necessarily need to lose too much "weight" per say. But I would like to lose fat and gain muscle.

I am 5'2" and weigh 130. I was 105 before I quit smoking which was on the thin side. I guess I could be ok with 130 if it was more solid and not so soft. But really, I guess 120 would be ideal.

I really don't know where to start. I would prefer something I could do at home (like jump rope). I live on a busy highway which I don't think is a safe area to run. And I am not yet ready to commit to joining a gym. What other things should I be doing? I do have some 1 and 2lb weights to start with as well.

Thanks for any and all suggestions :)
