Can you help me with microscopy questions?

Question

i am doing my lab assignments on microscopes and i could find 5 answers.. can you help me please..

1) the ability of a microscope to distinguish between two points as separate objects is called...? diffraction, resolution, working distance or parfocal focusing.

2) when looking in the microscope.. which colored threads have the highest power.. and the lowest power? red, gree, and yellow

3) if you move your slide to the right, the specimen moves to the...? left or right

4) a photograph of a specimen taken through a compound light microscope is called a ... ?

5) after switching from low power to high power, will the specimen be visible... ? more or less

1) resolution

2) red is the 100 power oil objective, it give 1,000x when you with a 10x eyepiece.

3) left. (up is down too) unless you have a rectifying lens

4) microphotograph (?)

5) visible. (with parfocal lenses you should only have to adjust the fine focus a bit for best image quality)
