Can you help me with my PS3?

I got a 80gb PS3 as a gift. It didn't come with a controller instead a BD remote like this:

Well I set the PS3 to restore to original setting. And when it restarted it told me to plug in a wireless controller with the usb wire.

My brother has a controller already "pared" to his PS3. So I tried to use that one. But the controllers LED's just keep blinking non stop. So do I have to un-par it with my bro's PS3 first or what?

I can't get a new controller now, no money.

  1. Take his controller and use the charger wire that came with the controller and plug it into your ps3 and that will pair it with yours

  2. first reset the controller at the back like this:http://www.us.playstation.com/SCEARegion...

then you  plug in the controller with the usb cable u have to press the PS button ant then it will start working then take out the usb cable then press the PS button again and then it will work wirlessly

  3. use the usb hub

  4. this is very simple, simply use the usb cable that is used for charging the controller, plug it and then automatically the controller will recognize the ur ps3 and therefore you can use it normally.

  5. The lights blink all the itme whne you plug it in, jsut to show its chairnging, no need to worry, unplug it then attmept ot pair, it should blikn fora few seconds then lock on with a solid LED.

oh theres also a REset button on the bottom of the controller, so maybe press that first. (small hole next to the s***w above the sticker on back)

  6. dude step by step...

    3) connect the wire to the controller

    4) press the PS button
