Can you help me with my hot lather dispenser?

Guys, I always thought that these things were a gimick. But, my hot lather dispenser makes shaving almost pleasant. But, I am scared of it because it is to close to the sink. I was thinking of mounting it on the wall with bands like they do fire extinguishers. Any better ideas.
