Okay,we all know that rain comes from clouds.

And my question is:

If outside it's raining and you are in a plane, but you fly above the clouds, there's no rain there?

  1. No it's not. the higher you go in the troposphere, the less wtaer vapor is in the atmosphere. So flying at 35,000ft. you're almost into the stratosphere. Once your out of the troposphere there is no water vapor at all.

  2. if you are in an airplane and you are flying above the clouds all you will see is either bright sunshine or a starlit sky, depending on time of day.  If you look downwards than you will just see the tops of the clouds.  You will not see any form of precipitation whatsoever.

  3. yeah the rain below you....

    So you want see it

becase rain doesnt usually come from space

If your above the cloudsyou dont see it

  4. As you aloft (higher into the atmosphere) the weather gets drier and cooler and outside of thunderstorms,  there are very virtually no clouds...
