I appreciate your consideration of me.... ( ex. to take my holidays in August )

I want to thank someone for taking my person under the consideration while making some decisions that might affect me. Is the above the correct English way to express it...?

  2. very wrong it seems . You were just not clear in that line !

  3. In the US you can get by with:

    1) Thank you for your time and effort.

    2) Thank you for all the help you provided when I needed a friend.

    That should do it.

  4. The most important advice I can give you is to personalise the thank you note. You could say:

    Dear [friend],

    I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the fact that you took me into consideration before taking the decision regarding..................................

    Your thoughtful gesture means a lot to me.

  5. It works, although I'm having a very hard time understanding you.

  6. "I appreciate your consideration for.........." finish the sentence with whatever action they took.
