Can you help solve number pattern: 12, 24, 36, 48, 510, ___, ____, _____?

Have to assume that they've added 498 to the first number and are restarting the pattern but it's unclear what the pattern is.  It could be adding the first number to get the second, adding it to second for the third and so on.  It could also be adding 12 to the first number for the second and 12 to the second number for the third so really are two possible sets of numbers here.

Most likely it is the second (numbers for the first would be very large.)  So unless you're studying really large numbers this should be right:

522, 534, 546
