My son got a sunburn and some areas look like they have a slight rash. It's very faint but it itches like crazy. We've tried calamine lotion, pure vit e, baking soda paste and vit e lotion. Nothing seems to help so do you have any ideas? Thanks so much...he's quite uncomfortable.

  1. oat meal bath?

antihistamines if he had an allergic reaction to something.

did you use sunscreen?  i got a really bad rash when i was younger from a certain sunscreen.

  2. ice pack it may sting if the sunburn is still there but the itching will go away for a good period of time and if it comes back put the icepack on it again til it goes away

  3. hi, I live in Australia, and sunburn is a big factor here!  I would suggest just keep moisturising it with sorbalene or if u can get aloe vera gel.. that works really good! The rash sounds like it might have blistered or something due to the burn.. sunburn can be really nasty!! you might want to take him to the doctor just in case to get him checked out!

    goodluck
