  1. submerge the student in a given amount of water, then measure how much the water rises and that's the student's volume

  2. LMFAO i love that answer up

  3. Well, this is one way that would work the most accurately. Place the student in a big beaker of water. (make sure you know the starting water amount in Milliliters) Then when the student is inside the beaker, measure the mL. Find the difference between those 2 numbers and POOF! you have the displacement (volume)....

(By the way, 1 ml = 1 cubic centimeter)

  4. loud

  5. Volume of a student? That makes no sense.

Volume as in the fluid inside? The amount of noise?

  6. Fill a giant measuring cup half way with water, lets say 300 gallons.  Then ask the student to get into the measuring cup.  Then record the new water level, lets say it is at 320 gallons now.  You know that the students takes up as much space as 20 gallons of water.

Figure out how much space 20 gallons of water takes up.  This will the the volume of your student.

    I hope I was helpful.

    Good luck!

  7. do you mean volume as in sound?

i am not sure how you'd measure that, but maybe compare the student to other students and just make a comparison?

  8. Well volume is how much junk u can fit inside you..

Get a large tank and fill it with water, then measure its total volume.  Dunk the student into the tank, then measure the displacement.  That displacement is the students volume.
