Can you help with pet rescue effort in New Orleans for hurricane Gustav?

Pasado's Safe Haven (4 star charity) has opened the largest pet rescue operation in New Orleans. Need people NOW to help rescue and care for pets left behind. Rescued 100 tonight. Please help. If you can get into New Orleans to volunteer or go to www.pasadosafehaven.org to learn how to help NOW. Thank you. This is one of my favorite charities---they are a first class organization that really cares. Please help not make this another Katrina where moe than 100,000 pets drowned or starved to death.

Not a great deal we can do to help here from the UK.  Just to say that we are thinking of you and wish you your colleagues and all the pets you are helping safe haven and safe passage.

From Australia there is little I can do to help. But our thoughts and prays are with you and all the animals.
