  1. you can multiply everything by -2 to get rid of the fraction

  2. 2(x-1) = -2x-4/-2

    2x-2     (distribue the 2)     =      -2x + 2    (-4 divided by -2 = positive 2)

    +2x                                              +2x

    4x-2 = 2

    +2         +2

    4x =4

    x= 1

  3. first, simplify

    2x-2=(-2x-4)/-2

    then, multiply both sides by -2

    -4x+4=-2x-4

    then simplify again add 4x

    4=2x-4

    simplify again, add 4

    2x=8

    divide by 2

    x=4

  4. 2x-2 = -2x + 2

    2x = -2x

    x = 0

  5. Holy c**p... I use to be a straight A student, you're screwed kid.

  6. This site is awesome. She has to be one of the best teachers by far. Just click on the algebra section and she covers these same type of equations. I suppose it would be better to learn it than have the answer given to you, right?  : )
