Can you hire a dslr camera?

Question

I am broke and I really am craving a photoshoot, but am sick of using my normal digital camera... is it possible to hire a dslr...

If ' Hire' Means Rent, Then Yes

they aren't cheap though, you could spend hundreds of dollars to rent a camera, but i guess it'd be worth it in the end.

HI Nlr  :))  Where is Oz??    Not knowing if you are in the US or in another country...  I am not sure if you could rent a Digital SLR or not.  I am sure of this though ...  you will not be able to rent one from one country to another,  you would not be able to rent one if you are not of legal age,  if you are able to rent a dslr,  you will have to use a credit card...  The rental company will charge your card with the total sales price of the camera, just in case you don't come back...  lose the camera... or break the camera.  So, that is the downside to trying to rent.   You will find that professional photographers will tend to rent very expensive photo equipment to do a job.. and then take it back... to avoid having to spend thousands of dollars on a cameras or lenses.   So I hope that gives you some realistic information on whether YOU would be able to rent a camera for yourself.   Thanks for reading.

I don't know about oz but here in the states most camera stores will rent you cameras and lenses
