  1. To shed pounds, the first rule is:

    Eat less. move more.

    You can build muscle by exercising and still not be lean.

    So, yes, you should count calories-especially the ones from fat and fatty foods, if you want to shed pounds.


  2. Not really, I just look at the foods I consume, and I can make an estimate of how many calories I'm taking in.  

    If you want to lose weight then just make sure your diet is balanced with a high protein intake and have 3 meals and 2-3 snacks with small portions of food.  You should also be drinking plenty of water.

  4. I don not count calories. I make sure that my diet is balanced enough and I do exercice.

    When eating raisonnably quantities and foods and no snacking all day thre is no need to count calories.
