  1. I'm pretty sure your house can get robbed wherever you live.

  2. These days it doesn't matter where you live,

    you'll get robbed anywhere.

  3. It doesn't matter whether your street is busy or not as much as WHERE your street is...

The closer you live to the city, the more crime (the more people, obviously). The further out you live, the less crime.

  4. nonbusy street becuase there is not alot of activities going on their so you could get robbed without anyone noticing

  5. Yes!

  6. Yes, busy or not, all locations are vulnerable. Intruders have even gone undetected in OCCUPIED homes & businesses.

    Three examples:

1- On 1-11-08, not only was the bank ACROSS the street from FBI headquarters robbed, in broad daylight, with agents inside, but the bank didn't even realise it for over 11 hours!!!

2- On an episode of the TV show It Takes a Thief they did an episode in NYC. During the staged "burglary" they parked a moving van in the street durning the daytime while moving tens of thousands of dollars worth of stuff into the truck. At one point one of the many passerbys asked what they were doing, the crew simply told them that the homeowner was moving with the added joke of "...because of all the criminals.", the passerby then just kept going. Later a marked police car drove by, never even slowed down.

3- On another episode of It Takes a Thief they broke into a police station, and weren't detected until they were leaving. At one point during the episode the "burglar" walked right past the open door to the dispatch office- with a police officer INSIDE.

  7. It doesn't matter where you live. I live in a peacefull neighborhood and my neighbors got robbed.

  8. Actually, people get robbed, houses get burgled. And yes, it really does not matter where you live, it can happen.

  9. yes

  10. It doesn't matter.  My car got stolen in the middle of the day in a lot full of people.  People's places get broken into all over the place.  It might be a little less likely in a busy area, but still possible.
