Crimes that are deviant but not criminal. This does not make sense. If it is a crime, then it is a crime. Do you mean crimes that are deviant as opposed to those that are not?

Are you referring to the term "deviant" to mean "status offense"?

If so, a status offense is a "crime" that persons, below a certain age, can be punished for.

Examples of status offenses:

1) Truancy

2) Running away from home

3) The purchase/use of tobacco products

4) The purchase/use of alcohol

5) Curfew violation

These "crimes" do not apply to persons over specific ages.
