Can you identify this Predator fossil from liaoning?

Cretaceous period, about a meter long.

  1. I think the phalanges are a bit short to be part of a wing.  Unless the image is off, the hind and foreleg are similar in length indicating quadrupedalism. That is as close as I can come so far, that very delicate looking skull and short neck is throwing me off.

  3. I am not an expert, but it seems to fit between birds and velociraptors.  Kind of looks like a primitive tyrannosaur.

  4. Well, it definitely flies.

    In spite of the thumbs down, I still think it flies.

    No way it is related to a T-rex.
