I saw a flag that had a blue square with stars arranged in a circle in the upper left corner. The rest of it was two red stripes along the top and bottom and a white stripe in the center. Any idea where this flag is from.

  1. Its the Stars and Bars of the Confederacy. The first model of the confederate flag used around 1861.

  5. I tried to find it for you but I had no success. Maybe I'm not grasping the description well enough and that's why I can't' seem to find what it is. I am really interested in what flag it is though. Here are some sites that you can scan through to see if you can find it. One has a list of world flags and the other lists flags that have stars on them. Hope you find it, i'm looking forward to hearing the answer.

  7. No idea, but with the olympics on at the moment a lot of websites have pictures of all the flags, so you should be able to recognise it.

  8. Sounds like the first national flag of the confederacy, also referred to as "Stars and Bars"

Georgia USA has a modified version that has another symbol in the middle with in God we trust added.
