Can you identify this mushroom?

These cool little mushrooms have just popped up in my yard:

More info:

The caps are salmon-colored. The more mature one is 4.5 cm in diameter. They're not at the base of any tree. There's no ring around the stems. It's very hot (85-95 °F) and humid here.

I tried using this identification key, but I don't want to make a spore print because these are the only 2 mushrooms so far:

  1. I am no mushroom expert, but this particular one sounds like yours from your description.  Take a look at the site below.  The one I think it is, is called The Russulas (Brittle Caps).  

    Hope this is the one, although I am sure there are hundreds of wild mushrooms out there.

  2. It is a species of Russula, but you'll need the spore print to know which one.
