I'm interested in getting some help identifying this creature in my pond.

1cm wide/round

2-3cm long

Clear/translucent body

Has "foot" the length of it's body like a slug.

I have a LOT of them in my fresh water spring fed pond...southern Ohio.

I thought they might be larve of some sort...I do have a lot of ramshorn snails...but found that not to be the case...I guess.

Any leads?

  4. If it is in the pond it could be a leech!  They have a slug type apperance and are clear to tranparent when young.  When grown they are dark like black.  They also have a foot.
