Can you identify this spider?

Question

It was a greay shade (wolf as in dog color) and was about the size of a half dollar. When I saw it, it was under my chair, I reacted, and I believe it got scared and freaked like I did, lol, as I stepped back from the chair I think it was trying to hide under my feet, so it followed me about 5 ft..

Grey house spider. (I know that sounds obvious but thats what theyre called, at least if its the one I'm thinking of) If you go to google images and type in the characteristics it will show up. I dont think its harmful...then again I dont know where you live XD
