  1. Anything that men spend most of their money on.  Bartenders-Hot Women, Resturants-Hot Women, p**n-Hot Women, Models-Hot Women.

  2. The traditionally female roles of caregiving, such as a stay at home Dad, male nurse, and home health aide are considered "un-manly" by some people, especially other guys.

As far as discrimination, there are often reverse discrimination for white males in many areas of life...in college applications, especially medical school; in small business loans and grants, which are guaranteed by the government for minorities, and harder to get for white men; in government and union jobs where minorities are promoted even over more qualified men. All in all, the attempts at trying to make the "playing field more level" have often discouraged many good men and promoted less qualified women and minorities. As a woman, I would much rather earn my job level for being capable than for being a minority....and resist attempts at affirmative action. This lowers the standards and makes minorities seem less capable. My husband works for a large firm, and in his line of work, a telecommunications technician, is mostly male. They are required to have a certain percentage of workers to be female, and its quite embarrassing to me, as a woman, how much less is expected of the women. They accept much less qualified women, even to the point of hiring women who failed at their entry tests (less than 60% accuracy rate in their work), and then the other workers have to constantly fix their mistakes. To think that we have lowered our standards of quality expectation from ANY workers or students in order to equal the playing field is sad.

That being said, the best person for the job is the person who is dedicated, talented, hardworking, honest, skilled, and gives their best. If that is a man, a woman, a white, a black, an immigrant or a native american, they should all be given the chance to prove themselves...on a truly level playing field. To get to that point, education needs to be available, and people need to work for what they want. But a good worker should never be turned away for a less talented or capable person.

Discrimination and prejudice have no place in any job. For anyone. The best person should be hired. My Dad ran ladies clothing stores...one of my best girlfriends became an inner city cop while working her way through law school....another friend of mine became a drill sargent in the army....and a close friends child is a male nurse. It shouldn't matter what s*x you are, or color, or even age...it should be the best person for the job, period.
