Can you imagine the world without guns?

with out guns we could survive, but alot lower on the food chain. Thay keep man above the beasts.

if we had no guns... we would still have war. we would just use swords , arrows, fire, physical combat etc...

No guns, does that also mean no nukes, missiles, bombs of anykind?  Does this mean that armies will once again line up facing each other and hack each other to bits with sword and spear.  Sounds pretty nasty to me.

ya, until a bear, a deer, a pack of wild dogs or wolfs kill and eat you.  no guns put us further down the food chain.

just go back to using sticks and stones.  They can do just as much damage as a firearm.  Would rather keep my 9mm.

You realize of course the Romans conquered the Mediterranean basin without guns don't you? And Alexander the Great done the same with the Mideast without guns.

Why would the world be a better place? Human nature will not change whether we have guns or not.

There have always been wars (even before guns) and will always be wars as long as mankind is alive.

With out a means to defend ourselves against criminals or tyrants the world would be a worse place.

There was war long before there were guns.  Since man learned you can kill stuff by beating it with a rock, there has been violence and mayhem.  Guns are simply one more tool to fight with.
