The only thing that might end it temporarily is Religion.  You have a major religion, Islam that believes that science puts restrictions on God.  They want technology without science but I could see how it might be possible for some religion to take it a step further in the future.

Lol.  The time will come when people have nothing left to invent.

But I think it'll take so long we probably won't be human anymore lol.

There is infinite possibilities in the world, I think it will take a very long time for us to reach that.

Considering using a stick to pull termites out of a hole is technically "technology", along with slingshots, bows and arrows, fishing nets, plows, hoes, baskets, shoes, spinning wheels, etc, no I cannot.  However, if you're asking about living without electricity, modern medicine, cars, computers, etc. it would be an uncomfortable adjustment at first but humans are resilient.  The real concern would be with malcontents forming coalitions to 'agitate' for somehow returning to their privileged way of life, possibly through 'creative' means like theft or slavery.
