The waitress asked how i was feeling i responded with an abrupt 'Fine and Dandy'. We sat down in the booth and without even looking at the menu Mandy piped up with her Hoop-Dee-Doo voice (she knew that voice irritated me) and ordered the Tacos Enchiladas and Beans. It may have been rude but i pointed at my watch and exclaimed 'Tic Tic Tic' to the waitress, she scurried off. Mandy seemed upset 'well, well Mister Tap Toe aren't you in a hurry? You bring me to this place and all you do is be rude? well fine then, sit there with your free coffee, cigarettes and memories'.

I hated it when she spoke to me like that, and she knew it. It had been hard for us lately. I looked her square in the eye, my response was... well 'Oops! what more do you want Mandy... You made me love you.. I didn't want to do it.... I didn't slip. I wasn't pushed. I fell. You need to deal with me the way I am'.

At that moment I knew it was over. I gently slid out of the booth. I was going to go to the sleepy lagoon, I needed to be alone.

As i turned around i saw a single tear roll from her left eye... Oh yes, there's good blues tonight i thought to myself....
