Can you input songs from an ipod into your itunes library

i had to re download i tunes and lost a bunch of the songs that are on my i pod. is there a way that i can input all the songs from my i pod into my i tunes library?

itune blocks this function since itune is the tool with one way to transfer files from itune to ipod. you must utilize other tools to achieve that. First, your iPod must be enabled as a disk use. To do this, open iTunes and connect your iPod. Click on it on the left under "Devices". Check "Enable Disk Use".

Now, go to "My Computer" and find your iPod. It probably will be a F:/ or G:/ drive. Open it. You go to "Tools", which should be somewhere on the top bar. Go to "Folder Options", and go to the "View" tab. This will probably be on the top bar somewhere. The first sub-folder under the first folder should say "Hidden Files And Folders". Unhide hidden folders. Click on the "iPod_Control" folder. Open the music folder. The folders will say "F001, F002, etc". Drag them all into your iTunes library.
