I download Windows XP Pro with SP2, a 32 bit version. But I accidentally deleted it, now I borrowed a CD from my friend, and I've realized that it's Windows XP Pro 64 bit edition. I wanna copy the disc, but before that, I just wanna know if you can install Windows XP Pro 64 bit edition onto a 32 bit PC, so my disk space wouldn't be wasted.

  1. No you can't. A 32 bit PC will have a 32 bit processor and you need a 64 bit processor to run a 64 bit operating system.
