Question:

Can you install a stackable washer/dryer against baseboard heat?

We'd like to put a washer/dryer in my mother's summer home. The only spot that makes sense happens to be next to the baseboard heat. Someone said that you can't put it there (he isn't a plumber or contractor so I take it with a grain of salt). Is this true? I've tried researching but can't confirm. The stackable washer is on the bottom, dryer on the top.

Thanks!

  1. you can if the appliances are at a good distance from the heating vents -but why???

  2. I am an amature builder (and speller) but i would say no because you might be blocking ventalation. Don't go totally off my vote, look at other peoples first.
