  1. I can you this prescription is for eyeglasses for a person who is fairly nearsighted (can only see things that are close, not far). You would definitely want to spring for the slimmer lenses, since these will be quite thick, and some antireflecting coating, since they will be quite convex. My prescription is nearly identical, and I was all too happy to spring for the extras once I saw how thick the lenses were.


  2. OD = right eye

    -.500 = your myopia correction...( nearsighted)

    -1.25 = astigmatism correction

      015 = the axis...angle that the -1.25 is ground at in your lens...

    OS = left eye

    Then left eye works the same way for the powers.

  3. you have moderate myopic astigmatism.

  4. you have a pretty bad case of myopia,get contacts or lasik surgery
