Can you jet ski at 13??

i live in virginia and our near by beach call colonail beach u can jet ski and stuff and me and my friends want to sooo bad but can u at 13?? or u have to be 18 or something?? lol

I kno that in TN I got my boater's licances when I was 12. I had to study to get it. 1st you must have a perment (you can get them at Walmart). Here in TN there is the TWRA thats like water police you might want to Yahoo something like VWRA. maybe but you can't go out alone cause if u get pulled over then u will get in trouble. Hope u find out for VA.

In most states you have to b 16 and have taken the boating safety course for a certificate.

i got my watercraft license for jet skiing when i was 16 and that was for WI, i believe you can have your jet ski license at 13 but must have an adult with you until you are 16
