  1. You absolutely can.

I participated in Pony Club, and my horse was 15.3

  2. Yupp my friend is going doing it on her 15.1hh ..!

Really good you should do it!

    [=

  3. Yes, sadly my daughter was the only rider on a pony at our last rally, all the teenagers have moved onto hacks.

You will have a fabulous time, we have an emphasis on fair play, lots of fun, learning through theory followed by games and plenty of healthy competition for those wishing to compete. And lots of team events from games, dressage, sj and ode's.

You will be warmly welcomed into the PC scene no matter what your experience. Have fun :)

  4. I dont know.

I think you can cos its more to do with the age of the rider untell there 18 yrs.

    ask your pony club branch

  5. Deffinately! You can join if ur under 18 :P

  6. yes

pony refers to the riders mount

most of the girls in my old pony club rode like 17.3 hand warmbloods and there were only about 3 ponies. everyone is welcome.

  7. yes.

  8. Of course you can. You can use any horse you feel like. Size doesn't matter at pony club. it is if you can control the horse you are riding.

  9. yep you sure can.

i used to be in pony club with a 15.3hh horse.

    so yeah

    :)

  10. My horse was 15.2 and he participated there. There was also a horse there that was part draft! He was SUPER tall!

  11. Yes you can, particularly as young teenagers are getting taller and taller!

  12. The name Pony Club just refers to it being an organization for children (now up to age 25).  Historically, in England, what children rode was ponies, and that's where Pony Club began.  Now, you can ride any size horse as long as it's not a stallion and is at least 5 years old.

    I'd encourage you to join!

  13. yes of course you can. ponyclub is just it's name. there is a horse at my ponyclub that is 16hh and i take a 14.2hh

  14. Of course you can! That is just the name of the club so you don't really have to have a pony. I am in pony club and have a 17.2h horse. I hope you do join pony club becasue it is an awsome experince.

  15. Yes, it's absolutely fine. PC is just a name :)

  16. Yea, Pony club is just a name, I have taken a horse into the pony club who is 15.3hh but i'm 11.

  17. Definately.  The daughter of my barn owner is riding her 15.4 thoroughbred in a pony club show-jumping rally this weekend and hasn't ridden on an actual pony in pony club in about 4 years.

As to the response about age, actually you can participate in pony club if you are over 18--it's called horse masters.  At 25, I could go and compete with and against pony clubbers, believe it or not.  My jumping trainer, who is my age, is a horse master.
