My daughter wants to join the Army and become a nurse. Can you join the Army if you are homeschooled? Are there any special requirements?

  1. Yes you can! requirements same as any other person.


  2. Yes, to be of age. Able to sign your name to the enlistment papers, and not be a felon.

  4. Yes, you can join the army if you're homeschooled.  All branches accept homeschoolers, and even military academies.  I would get in touch with a local recruiter and get the specifics.

  7. The U.S. Navy frowns upon homeschoolers, but it has been done.  You just have to make sure you go above and beyond!

  8. If there is any question about education just take the GED.  If she's had good home schooling, and does a brush-up, there should be no problem.
