Can you join the police academy if you done drugs like coke etc...?

I done drugs when I were younger, then I joined the Marine Corps. I've been out for two years now and want to join the police force. Is there any way to still join even now I had problems when I were younger. I also had a few dui's. Am I disqulified?

depends on the state.  in KY the state police. doesnt allow if you have dui's. you might be an S.O. in some places.
