Can you keep sheep and goats together?

I'm trying to plan what animals to keep on my property when i move there. any advice is welcome.

  1. My cousin slept with sheeps and goats in his king size bed in the back of his mobile home for years and he didn't have any troubles. But he did say that they were his "special" friends.

  3. You could but sheep are allirgic or somthing to copper and goats need copper (or the other way around) and u would need to watch the feed. I personlly have Nubian Dairy goats. and i looooovvvveee them!!

  4. I bought a goat for $35, but if you shop around you might get one cheaper.  Offer $30, you might get out cheaper, unless you can afford a show goat. skys the limit for them.  I don't know abou sheep...I think you can keep them in the same pen.

  5. go together like spam and eggs.

    you might want to be careful how many you get, depending on how big the property is - they are both notorious for overgrazing land. why not deer? they are much better looking and much tastier, if you have enough land.
