Can you knock peoples mouthpieces out on fight night round 3

I played through the game and beat it.  I do not believe I ever knocked out a mouthpiece.

I've played it a hundred times and never took notice of knocking a mouthpiece out? In the slow motion knock downs, it looks like a green object is flying around sometimes but I'm not sure if it's the mouthpiece or not.
