  1. I am not sure exactly what a-level is, but I know about a really good homeschool course that will give you the equivalent of a first year university course.  They offer these courses for physics, chemistry and biology.  I even heard that they were considering offering a microbiology course-they just didn't know if enought people would be interested in taking it.

You can do the couses online or if you have a teacher, you can just buy the textbooks and various multimedia CDs.  There are also labs.  I've heard a lot of good things about this curriculum.  I also have the chemistry text, and I think it's a really great program.

I hope that this helps and good luck.

  2. if the answer to these q's is yes then yes.

Do you have good self motivation?

Do you have a bit of talent?

Get at least an A at GCSE?

    Organised?

  3. You need to buy some lab equipment.

  4. well, considering how many homeschool students I know that are either currently taking physics or have taken physics in the past, I would have to say yes, it is possible.

Those that say it is not are just not thinking outside the box. you don't need a classroom and a building and a "teacher" to learn.

That's hard for some people to get.

  5. yoo kan learneed anetink yoos want from ome.i ave doned me ingish ok from ome

  6. not really - difficult to do the practical stuff.  Join a 6th form college.

  7. hahaha at robpc < lol

and its possible, if you get a tutor. im doing physics a level now and its fecking harddd..! if your prepared to do the work, you could. get the sylabus and then learn everythin on it. but yeah, tuition is pretty expensive!

im not too sure where youd be able to do the exam thoughh

    :)

  8. Yes but it would depend on how big your home is etc. You would need space to do the practical work and need contacts with a six form collage to sit your exams. You are better off trying to get into a six form college - the teachers there will know exactly what you need to do to pass and this will also make University entrance easier. Plus it's more fun and you will be more motivated.

    Hope this help.

P.S. I think that guy above who 'doned his inglish' gave a great answer.

  9. It is possible, but a bit hard for practical assessments.
