Can you leave a live pinky in a cornsnake cage overnight

can I because I heard pinkies(mice baby) can't see and they don't have teeth or claws and if they do there prob to small to cause any dam. right?

  1. yeah i always did if they didn't eat in the feeding bucket but just don't make it a habit you want to feed them in their feeding bucket as much as possible


  2. The only way that is ok is if you put both of them in a paper bag or cardboard box and put that in the cage. Just dumping a pinkie in the cage will have the snake associating you opening the cage with feeding. Putting it in a different container helps it associate that with feeding, and keeps it from eventually striking when opening its cage.

  3. yes that is ok the pinkie cannot hurt the snake.

    Just not a hopper or adult mouse.

  4. dont see why not! but as someone else said its best to feed in a feeding container!
