  1. If you want the full blessings of ramadhan, avoid it at all costs.

  2. even if its not ramadan one is not suppose to

  3. What a load of guff.  Why cant you respect Allah and still listen to music.  Im sure he wouldnt disapprove.

Its a free world, we can sing our hearts out when we want to.

  4. No it would not be good I thought the main point of Ramadan is to feel closer to Allah.

  6. Spiritual music ( and  elegant  non erotic dignified dance) was never developed in Arabia. The only Music they knew was the belly dancing type. For that reason it was not appropriate for THEIR music    . As with most things in Islam , some thing is either black or white, day or night with no other colors or sun rise or sun set in between.

There have been hudreds of Sufi saints in  India and Pakistan who sang with music in praise of Allah. There are so many Kawalies( musical songs  and singers in praise of Allah). Do u believe

Allah is angry with people who joyfully and with great devotion sing his name?

  7. Salaam,

Music is haram and your not allowed to listen to it year old. Music takes you away from the remembance of Allah. And the month of Ramadan is one of the wholiest months in the islamic clanendar. If you think about it, you should not be listen to music when you could listen to Duaa, reading Quran (which is very good to read it all during this holy month), learning more about your religion.

  8. No, you're not suppose to.

  9. why does allah find music so offensive?

why does he need mere mortals to constantly pray to him and worship him, is he a narcissistic?

why does he get jealous of other gods?

  10. Music is Haraam. It's a waste of time and doesn't allow you to remember ALLAH(Subhuman wa Ta'ala).  There is no need for music.  Music has been shown to effect human emotions, even when they claim it has no effect.  You see people tapping their fingers or feet almost as if the music is permeating in their blood.  You see people bobbing their heads at a metal or rock concert.  Music can make you deaf, if you listen to it on high volume.  Music can also kill you.  Studies have been done to show this.  If a person listens to rock or metal then that person's heart gets over excited and starts pumping blood at a faster then normal rate, which will ultimately cause the heat to burst in the chest, thus killing the person.  Most music today deals with freedom of speech, freedom of thinking, drugs, alcohol, shooting cops, degrading women to the status of dogs, raping women, killing innocent people; all things that go against Shariah Law and Islam.
