  1. When, exactly, can we live 'outside' ourselves?

External reality is always weighed through the mind, therefore you never really live 'outside' it, but if the stimulus is great enough, you can be blissfully unaware of the tiny voices chatting away inside your mind.

I guess that means, in my opinion, as long as I live, I will forever more be trapped within my own mind.

  2. I do it...

  3. Not really, no, because we all have to socially interact at some stages of our lives, whether it be to a colleague, a friend, family etc. We can live in a kind of dream world, but, we would have to go back to reality eventually..

  4. It is unnecessary to try. I like to consider my internal monologue to be more of a conversation.

In fact, we sometimes have committee meetings, and even cocktail parties in here.

  5. can you?

If you can do that, then what's the diffrance by real prisoner and prisnor of your on mind? We human are not built to behave like that, only robots are!!!!!

  6. In this life, all that we perceive is within our own minds.  To help explain this concept, I am including a link to a short 9 minute video that I found helpful.
