Question:

Can you look at these two screenshots and help me out (about trojans and music sharing)?

-- This first one is regarding a trojan that was apparently removed. Do I still need to try and delete the actual file itself or has the trojan gone forever? I tried to but it wouldn't let me; it said it was in use elsewhere, except it isn't! It's 0 bytes so does this mean there is nothing in the file anymore? I'm a tad confused!

thanks..

  1. Delete the file as u can see that MCAFEE did not repaired or deleted the file

  2. no no, not trojan and not some dude, it just makes other users in your computer listen to your music.. disable it anyway, this feature sucks

  3. For your trojan issue I recommend using the Kaspersky online scanner. The online virus scanner uses Java technologies to scan your computer for malware. The free virus scanner scans your machine while online. It DOES NOT remove anything it finds, but it will provide useful information to help figure out what viruses you have and where they are. Once the scanner is finished updating the database, on the left side click "scan my computer". The scan will take a while, so please be patient and let it finish. I'd recommend using a tech support forum as well to ensure your problem is completely fixed.

  4. 1. It would help to know what anti virus you are running.

    2. I wouldn't (better safe than sorry)
