  1. You can love desire, therefore you want desire. But desire isn't a kind of love, it's more a kind of lust.

  2. My personal view is   desire and love go together but can also be separate .  When you are in love, you also have desire for that person which can also mean lust  they are all intertwined but at times can also be separate  and in varying amounts.  Lust fades  over time which is the main component of desire but if it is love it can turn in other feelings and you can still desire but on a lower flame there are many, many degrees like a flame that can go high or low even a low burn Many people confuse lust with love and it soon fades, kind of like a freshly picked rose,so perfect and wonderful then fades  Love takes time to figure out and must not be rushed .The sky is bluer, the flowers are brighter, everyone seems nicer and you are walking on air Oh, what a feeling   and if it  is not meant to be ,It is better to have loved and lost ,than not to have loved at all .

  3. Interesting thought, maybe you could love it for a short amount of time, as desire cannot last for a great amount of time, it wears off after a while. I think we can love almost anything we want to...

  4. You can more than love it.  You can become addicted and consumed by it to the point of self destruction.

  5. the verb love refers to

1 feel a deep romantic or sexual attachment to (someone)

2 like sth. very much, find pleasure in sth.: I'd love a cup of tea, I just love dancing, a fun-loving person

so, if you find pleasure in desire you can love it - but it may also be close being addicted to it..
