Can you love too deeply?

"Agape Love" (pronounced ah-gah-pay) - the Greek word

You can cry

your tears,

dear.

I will save them;

string them

on a necklace

for to me

they mean love,

not shame.

Your heart hurts,

I sense

the mirrored ache.

Don't you know...

I need you too.

If you leave,

it isn't runningt,

not some

deep buried,

multi-layered

psychosis.

You need never

apologize

for your humanity.

You already have

my heart.

If you need to,

you may break it.

  1. No.  When you love too deeply, then it overflows to others. Our cup runneth over.

  2. Can you love too deeply?   Yes, if the love is not returned.  Now, for your poem.  I very much enjoyed it and your classic style of writing.  You've concentrated on structure so much recently that I've missed this style.  Anyhow, I especially liked the image of stringing tears on a necklace.  Lovely write as always.

  3. wow the end was AMAZING!!!!!! i love it

  4. Great job, you should really submit it to http://www.papertank.com and see what they think.

I bet you could get a high rating for it on there!

  5. idk..

but it doesnt get any better than this.

  6. This speaks volumes about willingness to help your love bear all burdens at all costs.  Even to the very doorsteps of your own heart break. Brilliant!  Dare I say even superior!
